About this course
The S-100A Fire Suppression Recertification is an annual refresher program specifically designed for individuals who have previously completed the S-100 Basic Fire Suppression and Safety Training. This course serves as a renewal of essential knowledge and practical skills necessary for industry workers and contract firefighters to effectively and safely respond to wildfires in British Columbia. If you have not taken either S-100 or S-100A within the last five years, you would only need to take the S-100A to be considered trained for the following year. If more than five years has passed since taking either course, you would need to re-take the two-day, S-100 course again.
